Hello,

I’m Ashlyn Penick, a professional artist living in Hawaii.

Ashlyn Penick was born in San Jose, California in 2000. She has since lived in various cities in California, and more recently in Hawaii. Ashlyn has always had a passion for the arts and was first introduced to drawing/painting at 4 years old. Since that introduction, she began taking art classes throughout her K-12 school years along with self-teaching. After graduating high school, Ashlyn attended Chico State University as a marketing major. She had lost touch with art for almost 2 years when she decided to make the leap and transfer to the University of Hawaii Manoa to study painting. Being in Hawaii, Ashlyn had made a stronger connection with nature as well as connecting back with painting.
